Duncan is a Masters qualified Accredited Exercise Physiologist with 5 years experience as an allied health practitioner. Whilst studying a bachelor of exercise science Duncan had his first taste of Pilates and he instantly loved how much of a challenge it was. Duncan taught Pilates throughout studying the masters of exercise physiology, and it nurtured his understanding of anatomy and human movement. Since completing his study, Duncan has gone on to do a diploma of clinical Pilates. He is always seeking ways to increase his knowledge base in order to provide the best possible outcomes for his clients.

Duncan has also had 10 years experience in the fitness industry and is passionate about collaborating with clients to help them make changes in order to improve. He is a thoughtful communicator and enjoys health coaching and smashing goals with his clients.



Stephen is passionate about healthy living that encompasses body and mind. Prior to obtaining his Certificate IV in Pilates he was driven by his extensive background in boxing. Now his uses techniques from both genres to create dynamic, fun fitness classes that will make you sweat and keep you fighting fit.

Stephen embraces the intensity of Pilates: how it addresses imbalances in the body while calming the mind. He relishes in building his clients’ confidence by helping them reach their fitness and lifestyle goals.

Stephen is dedicated to upholding Reformed’s values and diverse training styles. His passion, commitment and diligence make him the ideal head trainer at Reformed: Bentleigh East.

Danielle Perkins

Danielle fell in love with Pilates at a young age. She practised it as an injury rehabilitation tool as well as aiding her intensive ballet training. While studying for an Advanced Diploma of Classical Ballet, preparing her for a professional ballet career, her love for helping and guiding others took over when in 2016 she also completed her Certificate IV in Pilates, and transitioned into teaching.

Fitness is a huge part of Danielle’s daily life and she strongly believes in smashing goals. Her mantra is: you get what you give. She uses a fusion of ballet, Pilates and weight training to create fun, challenging workouts to lengthen and strengthen your muscles to help you become the best possible version of yourself.
